He really loves using it. He claims that the controller I bought him is lucky because he gets some pretty sweet wins in his games now compared to his old controller that came with his new upgraded ps4. I liked the red color because I thought it looked sharp and his favorite color is red. I also purchased a 2 year warranty on the controller because I wanted to make sure that if it broke he could get it replaced without an issue. So far the controller has been good and no issues. The only issue I had was the best buy nearest to me didn't have the red controller so I had to drive quite a ways to get it.

One had the R1 button stick and the other had the right stick make movements in the opposite directions when pressed very lightly. I tossed them both and bought this white one. Not sure if improvements were made to the design or not, but no issues yet, about 3 months in.

Lets be honest xbox stick layout is superior

But for general use the xbox stick placement and hand ergonomics is superior. As for the PS4 Rosegold controller its excellent and my wife loves it. I also love it when my controller dies and needs to charge.
