This was a very good addition to my PlayStation 4. I love the feel of the controller and the color of it is awesome !

I have a Star Wars themed controller that came with my PS4, and it still works the best out of my 3 by far. My second controller was the anniversary edition, which still works fine. However, my third controller (my first Jet Black controller) has been the one that has given me the most grief. Upon my initial purchase, the plastic body on the controller was shifting up and down, so I exchanged it. The second one had a similar problem (one which progressively got worse), and it also had a sticky R1 button; so I exchanged it again. This third controller was a much newer model, one that had released in tandem with the PS4 Pro (still a Dualshock 4, just with some material differences). Once again, it featured some sticky buttons, but this time the left joystick was also getting stuck on occasion. Finally, I exchanged it once more and, thankfully, have not had any more of these problems. Overall, these controllers are usually fantastic. They're generally sturdy, comfortable, and responsive, as well as pretty. Unfortunately, it seems that Sony's QC department isn't up to its task.

My launch controller wasn't working properly after three years. Haven't had any issues with this one.

These controllers are great until they refuse to take a charge anymore. Otherwise they work perfectly.

Like the look of this controller and the feel is great. The ps4 controller is a significant improvement over the PS3 conroller.

I like the way the control feel but I wish the quality of the control was better.

Bought this controller for my cousin for his birthday and he loves the color! Controller plays like all other but the color was the real winner!

I use this controller for FPS games like Call of Duty. Worked fine for a month. After, the left analog stick stopped functioning properly while attempting to run. Did an internet search and ,apparently, it is a common problem with this controller. Will have to try to exchange it. Sony has to address this problem since these controller are costly.

What is there to say? You need more than one controller to play with others and have a backup when the other needs to charge.

There have been some minor improvements to the current controllers mainly the light bar on the touch pad which I kind of like, it comes into play nicely when your charging it. There's not confusion if its actively charging the controller or not.

I play alot of competitive online games so i needed a new controller because my old ones sticks started getting wonky. I love the new controller, solved the wonkiness, HOWEVER! The buttons are pretty stiff as well as the sticks and depending on the game they get a little stuck too much if you are trying to be precise and fast, most notably accidental melees in call of duty.

Bought New Ps4 for Xmas & needed another controller & Best Buy had this controller on Sale & Saved me money. Only thing is battery life is round hours playing always buy Warrenty with any Controllers cause if something happens it's covered & don't have to buy a new 1!!!
