I like these types of controllers,. Real easy to hold and use during game play

My favorite part of this controller is entirely aesthetic. The clear design is so cool, and reminds me of the clear purple design from the N64 I loved so dearly. It’s great to see some of the mechanics behind the controller, BUT keep in mind the design only applies to the front panel. The back is a solid grey-white, which knocks off a star for me. I believe Sony might’ve done this to make the inner parts more visible, but having the clear design all around would have been perfect in my eyes. The other reasons for knocking a star are the lack of a sweat-resistant grip on the back handles and top of the joysticks. This can be easily remedied with stick caps and grip covers though.

This controller replaces the original ps4 controller. Although it looks almost identical to its predecessor, there are some distinct differences. The most important one being the upgraded quality of the buttons and joysticks. They feel more pronounced, definitely the sticks feel much better. Another small yet nice change is the addition of a slot on the touchpad that allows the light to show through. One last thing to mention is I believe the battery life is a bit better.

By now Sony can reduce the price on these controllers. It doesn't do anything extra from launch.

I like the new controllers over the PS3 controllers. They seem to fit my hands a little bit better, where the 3 ones felt a bit small and were not the most comfortable for holding for hours on end. Battery life seems to hold up fairly well with continuous play. Have not used the touch pad feature much, but it is a neat concept. A little bit odd thinking of it as a button, but it replaces the select button on the 3. Also has a share button which replaces start. I don't link my gaming to social media so that feature is pointless to me.

Would recommend It has withstood my 15 yo sons rough handling.

The remote worked great. It has a nice color too it and works just like any other remotes.

I love the remote not as hard as I thought it would be , my grandson is teaching well.

Works perfect. A little pricey considering it doesn't come with a cord to charge with.

This is the best Playstation controller in my option. I've had enough with the knock off. On the flip side, why does Sony make them to last well for 2 years and then give us the urge to get a new one for better performance. We spend as much on controllers as the system during the life of a Playstation generation.
