I bought it new and it works flawlessly with my PS4 (bought in 2014). I also have 2 aftermarket controllers, and I can say that the Sony controller is a little better in the joystick sensitivity department. The aftermarkets require a real hard yank for press to actuate, nothing beyond my kids' abilities, so they work, I just notice that the Sony controllers are smoother.

Great Controllers.

I've logged 5000+ hours on my PSN account. The original PS4 (initial release) controller still performs great. The only difference between the controllers is a slim light bar in the touchpad on the new controller.

With that said, he is happy with this product and always asks for this one in particular when he needs a replacement.

I love the feel, I love the feel, the weight and the new touch pad when used, but I hate the trigger buttons for me they are super sensible... I guess i got spoiled by the 360 triggers but I would say I prefer them to the ones in this controller..

Great controller to use for non PlayStation devices, like on Steam, your iOS device, etc etc.

Best looking DS4

Works great and durable as heck (although perhaps with the exception of the thumbsticks however those of us who use Kontrol Freeks aren't really going to notice). With that said, the DS4s are ergonomic so they're immensely more comfortable to hold than the old DS3's. They work great and I can go on and on about all the new features that Sony added but you can always google them. Basically this is the best DS controller to date....and the thing that sets this one apart is that this is the best looking one (although some may argue that the white camo one is). I'm partial to this one though.
