Features of back light indicate when its getting low, what mode it is in and displays colors when playing games based on the game. Would highly recommend for PlayStation users or even on your phone or tablet.

Great color, hard to get most places.

The only difference is when we first got the one 2 years ago, it worked with any headphones be it ps4 compatible or not, but the newer versions require the headsets to be ps4 compatible. The joysticks last a lot longer then the original black controller that comes with the ps4, and we haven't had any sticking issues.

An improvement over the previous model!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have definitely seen multiple improvements with these new PS4 controllers over the older ones. The battery lasts a lot longer, the thumb sticks are more rugged and have better grip on them, L2 and R2 buttons are more springy (good thing), and the thumb sticks also feel way smoother when moving them around. Other things I have noticed is that the buttons are now grey like the throwback controller and there is now a light on the touchpad. Although the last gen controllers are still pretty good, I would definitely recommend the new gen controllers for only $10 more.
