Do yourself a favor and always buy New controllers

That arrived more broken than my og controller and stunk of cologne. I was able to return it in store and got this brand spanking new one which is working like a spotted ape!

Great controls

The battery lasts a lot longer, the thumbsticks are more rugged and have a better grip on them, L2 and R2 buttons are more springy (a good thing), and the thumbsticks also feel way smoother when moving them around. Other things I have noticed is that the buttons are now grey like the throwback controller and there is now a light on the touchpad.

I rather use a cord to charge it instead of batteries so I like the cord. It’s a bit pricey for a controller. It cost more than the game which I think would be the opposite

Looks can be deceiving, huge improvement over DS3
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While the DualShock 4 looks strikingly similar to it's predecessor, it's a huge improvement. The controller has a nice solid weight to it and feels better in the hands. The analog sticks are much more responsive especially for L3/R3 functions. Additionally, the new options/share features allow quicker access to game/PS4 functions. Another great feature is it's simply Bluetooth pairing methods if you want to use the controller on a PC/Mac for emulators or Steam games.
