It's a controller. Made by Sony. It will do exactly what you need it to do. Not recommended for commercial submarine operation.

Controller works great and was a perfect replacement for me. I also bought the USB charge cable which works perfectly with it, particularly if you are not sitting far from the machine. Otherwise, the controller uses batteries (as usual) and works well if you want to sit further away. Recommended.

The color shows sweat stains/ dirt less than some colors; gold controllers get discolored quick. These seem a lil cheaper made than the ones that come with the console to me, buttons more clicky-clacky. Overall, gets the job done.

Needed a new controller for an old system. Took a while but I finally got one. Works great.
