Great control

The battery lasts a lot longer, the thumbsticks are more rugged and have a better grip on them, L2 and R2 buttons are more springy (a good thing), and the thumbsticks also feel way smoother when moving them around. Other things I have noticed is that the buttons are now grey like the throwback controller and there is now a light on the touchpad. Although the last gen controllers are still pretty good, I would definitely recommend the new gen controllers for only $10 more.

Employees at Best Buy took care of me when buying this and led me to the right direction when making the decision to purchase this controller had a great selection of colors and a good amount of inventory on hand

A shame I have to buy replacements so frequently. The last one i bought had issues with the touchpad getting stuck, but still usable. Although I have complaints, this controller feels better and works better than any other controller in my opinion.
