It never connected to my PS4

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really excited to get this since my old PS4 controller stopped working a few months ago. When it arrived it was in good condition and turned on and everything, but when I tried to pair it to my PS4 it wouldn't connect. Me and my dad tried to connect it for a whole week, we looked up different solutions and none of them worked. I finally decided to return it and got a full refund. I was really sad that it didn't work, I'm gonna keep looking for a new controller.
