Improves upon a classic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always liked the DS3, but the DS4 has managed to improve upon a number of minor gripes without losing the overal feel or making unnecessary changes. I know there are people that say that after using a Xbox 360 controller the DS3 felt terrible. This was never the case for me. However, after using the DS4 for a while, going back to the DS3 to play one of the games i got free for being a Plus subscriber does feels awkward. The DS4 is a bit larger than the DS3 and feels much more secure in your hands. The thumbsticks have been improved with a recessed grip that prevents your thumb from slipping off. The triggers are finally curved to grip your finger. I never understood what Sony was thinking in curving the triggers the wrong way on the DS3. All in all I am extremely happy with the design improvements of the DS4. I haven't used a Xbox One controller, but the DS4 is easily the best controller between the DS3, DS4, and Xbox 360.
