Drift started 6 months into ownership

The battery is also better than the dualshock that came with my PS4 Pro, which initially was why I bought a new controller. Unfortunately, drift has begun on the controller making it very frustrating to use. I bought a new to me (used) controller of the same era/model, and it also had drift. I suspect this model (ZTCU2) are prone to drift? It's hard for me to recommend this model to others for the current price. If you can pick up a new controller on sale, then yes. Just submitted a service/warranty request with Sony for this controller.
