Great deal for a refurbished controller

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I took a chance on a Geek Squad refurbished controller because it was heavily discounted during the holiday season. The controller was in excellent condition, aside from the slightest sign of normal wear on the left joy stick, there were no other signs that it was previously owned. The battery life between charges is slightly shorter than normal for A dualshock 4, but that does not heavily impact my ability to use the controller as desired. Would be willing to try other refurbished products of comparable quality.

It took less than four months for this one to start malfunctioning. The joy-sticks won’t register when they are clicked in and recently became misaligned. When running in a game, the character is going diagonally instead of straight. I would only recommend because there are no other viable options for the PS4 controller. The quality in Sony products have gone down severely.
