Not A Must Have But Useful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As far as consoles and controllers go, it's usually pretty useful to have a second one on hand for split-screen multiplayer or co-op on the same console. So far I haven't bought a single game that uses one though, but it's still nice to have a second one for those long game binges (I'm looking at you Destiny). If you play sports games with friends (soccer, football, etc) it's a must have. The glowy light is pretty cool, and the track pad is a nice extra for making password and text entry simple, but honestly just use the smartphone app for that at this point.

My 4th DS4 controller due to button issues

Improved, still needs work.
