Playstation made, PS4 works

Bought the blue version of the Sony PS4 controller (yes, it's wireless). Works great, no problems. But it's made by the same people who made the game console, so I didn't expect any. I was sad to later find out that Sony hasn't made their equipment nor upgraded their software to be compatible with all headsets...but once again, while the plug-in audio cord allows me to hear full game audio (or just chat depending on your settings), I guess I should not have expected it to work well with my non-Sony brand headset. Nor is the PS4 set to interpret and use all versions of blutooth - meaning my headset must be corded to the controller and will NOT work the microphone at all. I know that's not specifically controller related, but if you're reading a review on a console-company-made controller, audio-compatibility might be something you're worried about. Controller works great, range on the signal hasn't been a problem.
