Super durable and happy with my purchase and love the color

I purchased this extra controller so that both my husband and I can play together. The controller is easy to use and does not lag. The buttons are durable. It keeps a charge for hours of play.

Very good product, this is my go to for ps4 remotes and I love the color.

The controller is fantastic, has a relatively nice battery life, and work as expected. I like the addition of the light bar at the top of the controller in addition to the old light on the back of the control.

The new design over the old PS3 controller is what brought me back to the PS4. Having larger hands this controller is more comfortable to hold. Battery life on a charge is approximately 10 hours.

I purchased two PlayStation 4 controllers at the very end of May as a gift for my son’s 31st birthday. Now, here we are at the end of June—barely a month later—and both controllers are already having issues. One has a faulty trigger, and the other has problems with the analog stick (the little swirly knob thing), which just broke off. These are basic functions that should last longer than a few weeks with normal use. Honestly, they just don’t feel as durable as the PS4 controllers I remember from years ago. What’s frustrating is that the price of these controllers hasn’t gone down, even though PS4s aren’t being actively supported like before. And no, I didn’t buy the insurance or extra warranty—because I trusted the quality based on past experience. My original controller from years ago is still functioning, so I expected the same from these new ones. Would I buy them again? Unfortunately, I might have to, just so my kids can play their games—but I wouldn’t want to. I definitely think Sony or the retailers should offer a better warranty than just 15 days. Once that window closes, you’re pretty much stuck if something goes wrong. Bottom line: the quality just isn’t what it used to be, and at this price, it should be.

Loved the controller. Haven't bought a new one in 4 years since I got the ps4, I actually returned this for another color as I already had two white controllers.

This controller is one of the best designed video game controllers ive ever used. It really makes gaming a breeze whether you are on ps4 or pc. Definately worth the money for any hardcore gamer.

Great so far, had to replace my camo ones since they both failed with the analog stick but these seem to be working

The controller is really good and works on PC for PSnow. Problem is that I discovered that I don't like controller games since I grew up using mouse and game pad, so I will not renew my Sony subscription. Beyond that personal problem, the controller works really well when plugged into the USB port of my Windows 10 PC. Perhaps if I spent more time gaming I would get really good with it, but I have a life and only spend a few hours a month playing games.

Sony PS4 controller. Purchased for a second controller. Works great and the alternate color is good to tell between the original controller.

After purchasing this controller after breaking my last one on accident, I was excited to have a brand new controller after buy one a couple years ago. However, after bringing it home, I noticed when using the controller that the right analog stick malfunctioned a bit where it will pan the camera in-game slightly to the right even though I’m not touching the stick, let alone the controller. Although many functions in my games doesn’t need that bit of slight movement from the analog stick, but this does (kind of) get in the way when I’m playing First-Person Shooters where accuracy is key to win. Overall, the controller is ok and I was still satisfied with it. It’s just that this minor flaw takes away that “fresh, brand-spankin’-new feel out of the controller. If anything, I shrugged this flaw off as if this controller must’ve been a refurbished controller. All-in-all, I’m okay with keep the controller, I just hope I don’t come across anything like this when I come back to buy the PlayStation 5 considering it will be a brand new hot topic of 2020-2021.

This is an excellent controller for PS4, a lot better than the original one that came with the unit. The glossy light on top makes it even better at night while playing game.
