Liked the new movie just disappointed that there is a part two we have to wait on

Never read the book or saw that weird, David Lynch version, but this one was cool. Denis Villaneuve was the perfect choice to direct this after Blade Runner 2049, Sicario, and Arrival. Wish they wouldn’t have cropped from the original imax shots but the Dolby Atmos mix was awesome.

I've read the Dune novels and really enjoyed them. I have a fee boxed sets of the Dune Series from Sci-fi and truly enjoyed them. I think the new version of Dune was very good. Very good job with the characters and the cgi graphics. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Enjoyed the movie. Good sci fi story line and reasonably good movie depiction of the book. Having read the book, I understand there is no way one can make a single 3 hour movie and come close to reflecting the epic nature of the story line. If you were to compare with other Dune movies, I would recommend the Dune miniseries that stars William Hurt as Duke Leto Atreides (Paul Atreides’ father).

Production value is amazing. Acting is brilliant. This version of the story is a modernized telling of the story with updated dialog.. for better or worse. The 3d looks good and definitely helps the impact of the story and the huge shots look incredible. When there is a lot going on screen at different depths, there is minor blurring.

Good movie with great video and sound. Worth a watch. Way better than the Dune with Sting.

I was a fan of the book since I read as a young man. I was a bit disappointed with the film adaptation from the 1980's. But this version is a major step up! Great performances from a top notch ensemble! The Blu-ray extras are very interestinv too. Can't wait for the sequel!

Very good movie and extras with the BluRay package. A very different interpretation of Frank Herbert's book from earlier efforts, one that was quite enjoyable. Shipping of the disc was quick and the overall process from online order to delivery was excellent.

Movie was ok didn’t know at the time of purchase it was a two part movie.

It's a great adaptation of a difficult book to adapt. Visually stunning and full of ideas.

I seen this film in 3D in the cinema, and while I enjoyed it, I always enjoy 3D at home more, and this movie does not disappoint. It is a visually amazing film and should not be missed if you are a 3D supporter.

Wish they would have transferred the IMAX scenes but the steelbook itself is excellent.

The best film of 2021, first part of the first Dune book, beautiful visuals, stunning designs and a fantastic soundtrack by Hans Zimmer. If you're a sci fi fun, most have it. It's like Star Wars for Adults. Dennis Villeneuve the director is one of its finest work.

Loved the movie when I first watched it on HBO Max. Anytime I enjoy a movie like Dune, I always purchase a physical copy because if one day you lose internet service and you are not able to stream then at least I have a physical copy I can watch and still enjoy

This is the 1st part to Frank Herbert's sci-fi novel Dune, filmed by Denis Villenueve. The film presents breathtaking locations with big, vibrant colors. This is an introduction to the characters and plight they must overcome setting up the conclusion which should be released in 2023. This a must if not for the colors and locations alone.

This was a great remake of the original, but much better.
