Another attempt to put DUNE on screen. For those who love Dune, it was another valiant attempt, but there were several things that were lost, potentially, on the cutting room floor. Maybe another release, like a "Jack Snyder" version of Justice League could be forthcoming.

Very difficult to bring this story to the big screen. Several have tried, but this effort comes very close to presenting the volumenous material to a viewing audience. Kyle was a better Paul than Timothy, but the supporting cast is excelent.

Haven't had a chance to watch it closely (or all the way through). So far I can tell its probably not going to be an easy 5*s but is definitely better than 3. Can't wait to find a window away from my kids to give it a good viewing.

The production values are solid. The acting is good. The only drawback is that it is only Part One. The special features are numerous and well worth watching.

This film is an absolute masterpiece! It is very well shot and epic in scale! I highly recommend watching this on the biggest tv you can find with a good speaker system.

The film lived up to the hype, and was easily one of the best movies of the year. The Blu-ray looked amazing, and had ton of extra features for the die-hards out there.

Great movie and cast. Looking forward to next one. The steelbook is nice, but it did have a small dent that I could not see under the wrapper before opening it. For collectors, these steelbooks need to have more protection.

This movie is amazing!!! I unfortunately missed the IMAX theatre showing. However, watching this movie on my OLED looked insanely good. Great visuals and great story.

This is a great remake of the classic film. A great cast and awesome visuals make this a great start of films in the Dune storyline.

We read all the books so we had a good idea what was going on. If you have no prior knowledge of the story you might still be wondering what's going on. Several scenes were too dark, even with all the lights out. The volume was frequently either too loud or too low.

Compelling remake of the original. Adapted from the novel. Even if you watched the first 'Dune' movie, this one is also worth a look.

As a "Dune" fan I think its great. I have the other two Versions and they are different. This is Part 1 of 2. Graphics are great and it follows the Book much better.

To me it wasn't as good as original but it's not a bad movie can't wait for part two to come out yes I would recommend this movie to people to watch

This purchase was a good value including a Bluray and a DVD shrinkwrapped. There was a bestbuy sticker stuck on it, but it came off cleanly.

Wow! What a great start. The novel is finally getting done right on the big screen and the blu ray comes with a fantastic slipcover. Buy this as soon as possible

This is a visually stunning but kinda slow film. Unfortunately this is probably due to the nature of it being the 1st half if the story with a sequel to come.

Dennis Villeneuve does it again. Dune stands along side some of the great sci-fis of this generation. Epic and visually stunning. Can't wait for the sequel!

Amazing film in a great 4K transfer. Vilanueve's vision is brought to the screen in full force. This is the only way to watch Dune if it's not on the big screen.

I personally love the remake of this 1984 Classic. And of course, advances in movie technology over the last 35+ years clearly shows. A must for any Sci-Fi fan.

This film is an instant classic and a faithful adaptation of the greatest Science Fiction Novel of all time! The Steelbook packaging, as always, is exceptional!
