    This just may be the best adaptation of Dune ever. Or at least, the first half of it! I can't wait for part 2!

    There have been many attempts for Hollywood to tell this story. I believe that they are on the right track with this movie. Can’t wait to see the second part.

    This is a great disk. I still prefer the original movie but it is really nice to be able to see Dune in 4K.

    *Rating is based on 3d quality, not movie content* Enoyed the movie on HBOmax at release and didn't get a chance to see it in theaters due to covid. Was excited to see how it held up in 3d, especially as blade runner is one of my favorite 3d conversions and this is made by the same director. Pretty disappointed, the 3d adds depth and makes some of the sand wide shots look impressive, but doesn't do much in the way of popout or depth in many of the enclosed scenes. Nothing wrong with the conversion, but if I'm watching it again I'll opt for a 4k version over 3d.

    The only con against this movie is that someone may not own a copy.Other than that its clearly ahead of the class
