Zombies are dominating media lately. From TV's The Walking Dead to movies such as World War Z - zombies are everywhere. Everywhere also refers to this game where the zombies don't only outnumber you but can vary from day to night. Not wanting to spoil anything, the game is not as open world as Far Cry 4 but its a good rumble. Be prepared to die often as you need to learn new techniques to survive. Good luck and good night.

Not may gave this game a thought but I was very surprised at how good it was. The par core game play elements are fantastic for the most part and the game is deep and long which makes the price tag a can't miss. You will be on your toes and adrenaline rushing through your veins at night time scenes in this game. It is ok in the graphics department but it makes up for it with tight gameplay and excellent scare factor.

I didn't know anything about this game until a friend told me about it. After playing it, I am definitely happy with my purchase. It takes the right amount of skill at first, and is definitely challenging. I like that after an hour of gameplay, I've only completed 2% of the game. That means I'm in for a ton more! Definitely worth every penny..and not to mention, is super scary when played in the dark, with surround sound!!

I love how good the graphics and gameplay are when I played this game. I liked how intense the game gets when fast zombies are chasing you at night and you're health is low. It's great that you can play with three other people in the campaign. I highly recommend this game for gamers who are into action. The only thing I didn't like was it was kind of difficult it was to quickly jump from ledge to ledge sometimes.

Dying Light was a game that didn't have a lot of information review wise when I purchased it due to the company not sending out review copies until the day before the game was released. While I speculated this was due to a broken or sub par release I decided to give it a try. The game is very Dead Island but allows you to traverse the city using Parkour with Assassin's creed style wall climbs and roof jumps. The game is survival so items are scarce and enemies are tough to take down early game. The leveling is based on merit so the more you run around in hordes of zombies without dying the higher your survival level goes which gives access to new abilities. The more you bash zombies with bats, pipes, planks etc, the more your combat level rises and the more combat abilities you gain access to. Dying Light becomes a grind where you are rewarded for spending time not playing the main story and more or less doing anything else in the game. If you're in to this type of genre that rewards exploration and crafting then it may be a fit for you. I would otherwise advise people who were not a fan of the Dead Island series to skip this one or wait for a substantial price drop.

I held off purchasing this game waiting for Dead Island 2 and concerned the parkour system would not appeal to me. After Dead Island 2 was indefinitely delayed decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised, especially by the parkour system: It works really well! If you like smashing zombies (guns are present but most of your kills will be melee kills) and collecting loot in an open world this is a game for you.

Dying Light delivers an immersive action experience. You'll fight against zombies and take advantage of parkour abilities such as jumping across rooftops or from ladders to ledges, which separates Dying Light from other first-person action games (parkour is usually found in third-person adventures, such as in Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed titles). The many missions, huge locations, upgrade system, and weapon crafting provide a lot of bang for the buck -- and that doesn't even include the various multiplayer modes offered. These include four-player cooperative play and a "Be the Zombie" download for those who want to turn the tables on the good guys. Although the similarities to the Dead Island games can't be ignored, Dying Light nicely balances the day/night objectives. While the sun is out, you'll find yourself performing tasks for other survivors (such as helping a pregnant woman deliver a baby) -- but at night, when zombies are stronger, faster, and more plentiful, you'll need to do your best to survive until the sun comes up again. Visually, the game looks great, with weather effects, high-definition characters (though lip-synching is so-so), and expansive, varied environments. But repetitive missions take away from some of the fun -- there are more than 100 missions and side quests, so a "less is more" approach would've helped gameplay become more polished and enjoyable. Still, Dying Light is an exceptional game worth picking up

Survival horror at its finest. Great open world concept.

Fun Game, Easy to play , Lots of side missions , Could use a few tweaks like most new game

This game was a welcome surprise. Its release date came at the perfect time and was a fun world to run around in and explore. I also liked that the game emphasized traversal over combat and encouraged the player to use parkour skills to navigate the environment. If you like open world zombie games definitely give this game a shot.

This game is both visually stunning and fun to play. The open world environment, day to night cycle, parkour/free-running mechanics, and the co-op playability completely make the game. Although there are some tense moments the game is not "scary" in the Silent Hill style but is definitely intense, especially at night. A new "hard mode" update should up the intensity for those who already have high powered weapons.

Great game with a good story. If you like the zombie genre you will love this game.

If your a Zombie nut then this is no doubt a must have game. Difficult at first with lack of good weapons or skill. Map is pretty big and alot of side things to do. Story is meh but it had my attention for the first few hours. Playing at night is ridiculous probably the best part of the game IMO. Game is definitely better with others. Good system for co-op but I had alot of difficulty getting 4 people in a game at a time. Was not happy with that to say the least. Pretty good amount of bugs at launch to go along with iT but those are probably all ironed out by now. I would have really loved this game but it just felt Sooo dragged out by the end that I was happy to be done with the story and havent even completed the side missions. Just way to repetitive. If your an average or casual gamer I'm sure you will enjoy this at least for a few hours The more you like zombies the better. Zombie Nuts and people who plan to play with friends, probably already own this and if you don't it's a must. I was in the middle with this loved it at first and just wanted it to be done by the end BUT I played alot of this by myself.

When I was playing the game by my self It was fun but not as fun when you're playing with your friends! The game is very challenging but been fare at the same time, you don't want a game that is to easy. Controls are easy to learn and the game play is fast.

Im glad it not just ANOTHER zombie game. Story is cool. Gameplay is awesome. I love it

From the very beginning this is a very good game. From the graphics to the way the zombies look to the way they react to your every move. I will be honest this game makes my hair stand up when i play, it definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat and its a game that you can play for hours and hours. I love open world games. Trust me the only mistake that you will do is if you don't buy this game.

I was a bit skeptical at first, so I didn't end up pre-ordering, but after being convinced by friends to purchase it, I didn't regret my purchase at all. This game has elements from the Far Cry and Assassin's Creed series, so if you enjoyed those games, you will certainly love this. I would highly recommend getting this game, especially if you want a good zombie survival game to play with friends.

Awesome Parkour and Combat, tons of weapons. Story is meh, but the world is big.
