Dying Light of consoles is another one of those first-person perspective games that has a ridiculously limited field-of-view (FOV), which basically means that your view is extremely limited sort of like tunnel vision. You're practically playing the game with a zoomed in view. And this induces motion sickness. Now on PCs, you can make the FOV wider to alleviate this problem, but on consoles this is impossible. On a related note, the annoying film grain that is applied to the entire screen cannot be turned off. If you can endure motion sickness and a fan of zombie games, then this can be enjoyable. It is very unfortunate that Dying Light on consoles is plagued with these issues because the basic premise of the game sounds very interesting -- an isolated city infested with zombies, and you have the freedom to roam around the streets and building with your parkour skills. The day/night cycle gameplay is also adds a unique flavor. This is a game with interesting ideas, but some of these technical issues may hinder the experience to some gamers who may experience motion sickness due to poor FOV.

If you liked Dead Island, this is definitely an improvement with more to do and alot more fun. First off is the parkour system. If you're not familiar with that gaming term its basically you have to ability to jump and climb onto and up stuff like buildings and walls. Its pretty cool in the first person perspective. There's safehouses where you have to clear out an area and use it later when you're being chased down at night. At night its scary because the zomies are faster and more vicious than they are in the daylight. Also there's no workbenches that you have to locate to repair or upgrade your weapons. You can do all that whenever. This game is about as bloody and gory as it gets so keep that in mind if you have little ones or if you're squeamish about that sort of thing. There's a ton of side missions to do, kool weapons and the combat isn't the greatest but its something you eventually get use to and its great safisfaction when ya knock a zombies block clean off it's shoulders! This is definitely a must play if you're a fan of the horror action rpg genre!

A lot of reviews coming out saying how they don't like this game because of zombie overload. I think something a lot of people are forgetting is that this is a game that has been long awaited for ps4. A great co op game, that isn't just killing each other. Huge world to explore and lots of quests to run. Only thing I wish was different was the ease of connecting to other games as a zombie

Its an interesting take on a zombie game. The story definitely gets you into the game emotionally at times and graphically looks awesome. Trying to do things at night, definitely makes you reconsider things. Talk about heart racing. Feels like Mirror's Edge (parkour), The Last of Us (salvage/creation), and Dead Island (first person zombie face smash) all in one, which isn't a bad combo.

This first person action adventure game delivers thrills with its satisfying parkour system and meaty combat. This is a long game ranging around high twenties and lower thirties if you don't wander too Mich. It delivers on the promise of fearing the night as enemies that roam are much stronger and quicker. The combat can become repetitive, but I'm a fan of it and its progression system.

After buying The Walking Dead Season 2 for my wife, she said she liked the game but it wasn't what she'd expected. She was looking for something that she could sink her zombie hunting teeth into. Dying Light was the answer. It gave her what she was looking for as far as gameplay. There was more hands-on, interactive game play, as opposed to TWD's multiple choice quiz game style.

Dying Light is the zombie game I have been looking for. The open world allows you to pick and choose what you do and when to follow the story-line. Zombies by day are tough but when night falls they get even tougher. The only drawback is some of the missions are difficult to complete as they require utilizing the parkour skills of the character which need a bit more development.

Really fun game, especially with friends. Even the side quests are fun and have their on stories. Only thing is after I beat the story and all the side quests there wasn't really anything to do besides the be a zombie mode. Hopefully the dlc that comes out will be something to bring me back to the game.

This game has a lot of features that other console games have might have but never all in one; days turning to nights, durability on weapons, tons of quests all over the map, sharing current progress to complete together in multiplayer. Overall this is a really interesting and fun game and I'd recommend it to anyone that likes zombies, survival games, or just enjoys being scared.

I like the open world of the game and the graphics are pretty impressive.

I'm only 8% in to the story line and there's so much to do! not to mention how the whole feel to the game changes when the sun sets. Co-op makes it a little more fun too. I do wish they made people who were away from their PS4 ineligible to join their party...too many times you join and the person just stands there and you have to drop and search for an active party...

12 hours in I'm still only at 13% completion. Great story and gameplay.
