I have to admit I got this game because 2 of my friends were playing it and couldn't stop raving about it. I am still struggling weeks later to get past the beginning parts of the game. I am evidently not very good at the parkour style of control it uses and spent days trying to jump off a ledge onto a little board sticking out of a light pole before I finally gave up and put the game away. Very disappointed that I wasted $50+ on a game I can't play.

Techland did a great job with the crafting, missions and especially the coop. Have spent many hours in coop play and once you get the grappling hook, it just makes the game that much more fun

great player progression aspect but the graphics aren't eye popping - even on the new systems. the game is fun enough that it doesn't matter.

I was afraid that this was going to be too much like Dead Island. To my surprise, its a way more serious tone. Some very intense moments early on, and that feeling of not being safe lingers.

If you miss Dead Island and you can't wait for its sequel, that'd be just about the only reason to pick this up. Fun with friends for a while

This game is off the chain. Ever wonder what it would be like to see the parquor of Assassin's Creed from a first person view? This game gots it and all the stuff that made Dead Island great.

The game looks gorgeous and the story seemed to be going somewhere but I can't get past the boring combat. Really turns me off from this one.

Even though I haven't quite beat this game it has been a blast playing. Multitude of side missions with enough variation that the monotony doesn't set in. Looking forward to finishing soon.

Just finished this, played it all single player and must say this was so much fun! Loved just mercilessly slaughtering the undead. Crafting new weapons and items. This was a hidden gem!

Really fun and the controls are very intuitive once you get used to it. No fast travel but it is pretty fun just traversing the environment, especially once you get the grappling hook.

This game was developed by the original development team behind the first dead island game and the quality shows. Great game mechanics and new and interesting tweaks on the zombie genre.

The co-op play is really fun. I like being able to work on the same campaign with my friends. The level of detail in the environment is incredible also. So far, it's been a blast to play!

Coming into this game fully expecting a game like Dead Island greatly assists in appreciating all of the new features. This is a survival game and not a hack and slash style zombie game.

Great game to play with friends, only reason why I bought it was because my friends told me to get it. Once I did it's been non stop story mode etc, also decided to buy the $20 DLC.

As a sequel to dead island tech land really stepped it up. This game fixes a lot of what was wrong with dead island and give dying light great legs to stand on as a new franchise.

I normally don't play first person games but I'm glad I didn't pass this one up. I have a lot of games but I keep coming back to this one because it's fun and there is so much to do.

if you like dead island, you like this game. including the day and night cycle was a brilliant idea, also making them different play style. also, where are my $10 for pre-ordering? =/

I bought the game because I just like playing zombie games. Overall I like playing the game I haven't passed it yet but hey, its so far pretty good and lots of things to do on there.

me and my friends are always looking for co-op games to play so far this game has offered us a very fun and scary one. Can't wait to get off from work and fall back into dying light.
