Best cooperative zombie game ever, when it gets dark is when the mayhem begins I love how much more dangerous night time is

This is simply the best zombie, living dead, walkers game since the Walking Dead, Season 1 and 2, and Left 4 Dead. The graphics are absolutely stunning, and the gameplay is entertaining and challenging. Obviously, this is what "Dead Island" wanted to be (not that that game was bad in anyway, the just didn't have the PS4 yet). This is one of those games that you will want to have for your console's library. You won't go wrong purchasing this game. It's a great buy, and a great game.

Great game! Really enjoy playing this game. The only issue I have is getting used to the controls. Otherwise it's a blast!

I really like the play, although the controls are a little different than most games. Once you figure out the controls and how best to run and grab ledges, the game is a lot more fun. There are some places you HAVE to get to that are more frustrating than others, but they are few and far between, so the parkour feel works well in the game. I really love the sound and music for the game, as it really adds feel and depth to the game. I am looking forward to more DLC as it comes around.

From running around in the free world too killing zombies with just about any tools you find a great all around game.

I'm not one for zombie games cause they are usually really tacky and played out but god I am loving this one. The freedom yet guided game play is well balanced for my taste. Also for someone who can beat most games that come out these days in less than 12 hours this game has kept me on having it since drop day and playing over 24hrs of game play and still not finished I'm glad some game designers have their stuff together. Overall a great game can't wait to see how it ends.

Great action & fighting (making weapons & different zombies) but gets a bit repetitive on some side missions

Definitely a well put together game. The graphics are crystal clear and the story is so immersing. Must play game.

If you liked either of the 2 games in the title you'll most likely enjoy this game. The combat is visceral, the lateral movement is fun and reminiscent of a game like far cry. Night time is hectic at first, but with a little leveling and experience becomes a staple of leveling up very quickly to amass new abilities. Playing as a hunter is also a blast, you feel like a movie monster lurking in the shadows making players jerk and keep there heads on a swivel.

Dying Light is a fun action adventure game where you scale the cities cars, shanties, buildings, and environments to help create a new feel to a sandbox zombie game where - yes, you can mercilessly slaughter zombies - but it's just as much, if not more fun, to avoid the confrontation and enjoy your constant attempts to escape. The only downside to this game is that if you've played Left 4 Dead or Dead Island - this is a REALLY familiar feeling game.

Scavenging, weapon crafting, climbing - this game is a blast. I love the night threat as well, it makes going on missions that much more exciting. You always have to refer to your map to pick the best route to make sure you have a safe house nearby in case it gets dark. Zombies adapt to your skills so you're never overpowered making it feel like a real zombie survival game. Excellent graphics and pretty good controller scheme. Extremely happy with this purchase!

I think this is a rather fun game with a fast and action filled start. However parts of the game are a little frustrating as there are several people you come into contact with but are unable to have any interaction. This is not like Elder Scrolls or Watch Dogs were everyone can be an active part of the story just by walking up to them. In addition to this the cut scenes that come up when the game loads for different sections can be quite repetitive especially when going in and out of doors. However, if you are looking for excitement this game will give you that as night life in the game is all that it is hyped up to be as you are trust into a sea of black and only have sparse lighting from some street lamps, dimly lit houses, and your flash light to help you see where you are going. But remember this is a Zombie game and light will attract the unwanted. The map is open in the sense that you can just wonder around and explore but you must constantly be aware of your surroundings as not all walkers or biters as they are called in this game are slow. Some are fast like world War Z and some are bigger than life such as something out of Resident Evil. If that is not enough to make you look at the map the time fades quickly as day goes to night even when you are in a pause menu to craft a new tool or weapon. If you get the call find shelter don’t mess around as before you know it dark will be upon you and the real deal Zombies will hunt you down and yes they can climb, jump and run as well as you can. All in all I think it is a fun game with several side missions to make the game have a long shelf life that can be played well into late spring depending on the amount of time you devote to being afraid of the dark!

Amazing graphics and story line. Easy to use controls and game play.

The game is a fun zombie sandbox. The story and side quests are alright, but that's not what you're getting this game for. There's a lot to do and you can easily get sidetracked. The skills you get to fight zombies just make the game really fun. There are some quirky and silly things in the game, such as in-game npcs. The game itself is enjoyable and the controls feel good. The game is especially fun with friends, and easy to join your friend's game.

Very fun game. Had a great story and the game play itself was a lot of fun. Challenging but yet very fun.

If you've enjoyed Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide then you're in for a real treat. Imagine the good elements from those games cranked to 11 and you'll have an idea of how great this game is. Loads of content (I'm still on the first map and I've already invested at least 20 hours in at 26%), do yourself a favor and checkout the side missions as they are very rewarding. The co-op is smooth, and makes the game even more fun. Highly recommended game!

I enjoyed the games open world and having lots of choices on how to get from one spot to the next.

This game is very reminiscent of Dead Island, you can tell it's made by the same company just in the style. The characters animations can be a bit glitchy but not in a way that prevents play. So far I've enjoyed my time with this game, it' has fast paced action but there's still the ability to explore. This is a good game to play while you wait for Dead Island 3. I would suggest buying it on sale or preowned if you are unsure.
