We currently purchasd this game for our 10 year old son. He has really enjoyed the graphics and story line. He has since passed on the game to his older brother who is enjoying it as well.

This game is the best game I've played in a while! Exceeded expectations, great graphics lots to do and a decent story. Havent played online yet but I'm sure that will be pretty fun to.

This is the best zombie game out there. Starts out with the open world free roam to the parkour of the free running. Ends with awesome melee weapons and perks. Complete awesomeness...

I'm not a great gamer by any stretch of the imagination, but I decided to buy the game based on numerous reviews. The training sequence at the start is a little boring, with the exception of crossing two buildings using a crane. And there are a few bugs. At the beginning, I was looking for my firecrackers to throw and distract the zombies, then I noticed they all started walking towards a burning car, climbing on top, and killing themselves on their own...some even exploding! Once you get out into the infected world, it all changes. Zombies moving slow during the day and fast at night is crazy? It's fun and entertaining to say the least.

sofar dying light is awesome.....its like dead island but better. the hunters at night are scary...my level was still low but I was running for my life but I made it to safe house

Great game...plays a lot like Dead Island, but is truly an upgrade over that game, not only in graphics, but also in story and gameplay. it's a lot more horror intensified.

I play a lot of Xbox One video games and this one is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I think the graphics are great and the game runs quite smoothly. I've gotten a little bit tired of the whole zombie craze but this game raises the bar and has me interested again. It really seemed to have pulled me into the game and the mood of the game is really good. You can roam around during the days fairly easy but you can also push the edge by going out at night. That's when the game really changes and you can literally feel it. I have gotten downright scared and have jumped out of my chair a couple of times. I think it's a must play.

If you're into zombies then this game is a must have. Dying Light is the ultimate open world survival game. It's Resident Evil, Fallout and Borderlands all rolled into one!

I was hesitant about picking this game up because Techland does not have the best track record with games, and I am not a big fan of their Dead Island entry. However, due to a bonus offer for preordering and not having any games coming up in the near future I wanted I decided to give it a shot. I am glad that I did, because this is definitely an entertaining game. The graphics are beautiful and the day/night cycle helps to keep the game interesting. The only downsides are I am not a big fan of the parkour aspect and some of the missions are repetitive. Overall, if you're looking for something to keep you entertained until later titles are released this is a game you should check out.

Great open world zombie game. Have fun learning about the outbreak in the huge quarantined city or just exploring for new gear. Great game play mechanics. Very intuitive.

Overall, this is a great game. It's quite hard at first Since everything is a bit overwhelming, but after you get into it, it's just right. You get the run of the mill story, so if that's what you are after, you will want to look somewhere else. Where it shines is the gameplay. The RPG elements make the grind worth it since you get that something else that makes you more powerful. The Parkour element is fun too since if you think you can climb in it, you proboy can. It makes zombie evasion must easier, but also gives the creators a lot of freedom to make some interesting aspects that you wouldn't get in more of a run and fun type of game like Left 4 Dead. Overall, tons of fun.

First of all I am a fan of the Dead Island games. This was supposed to be the sequel but ended up becoming its own game. It's a great game. The leveling system is nice. You can traverse almost anywhere in the game map (except of course for the borders that lead out of the map) as long as you can reach it. You can run around the streets fighting zombies or climb to the rooftops to avoid most of the encounters. I enjoy the daytime/night time modes. It's safer during the day but night is where the fun is at. In all it is a great game that has parkour, loot, weapon crafting and upgrades, and zombie bashing goodness.

At first, I didn't know what to expect with a parkour take on zombies, but after playing for a few hours, this game is beast! Tons of exploration, weapons, and zombies throughout. Great game!

If you like zombie games, this one's for you. It has a smooth feel, graphics are good and the action is intense. There are plenty of missions and side missions to keep the action coming.

If you're going into Dying light expecting a deep story, you'll be disappointed. If you turn this game on and go in wanting to run around from scary, screaming zombies in the dark while bashing them as you run by, then this is the game for you. This game is another addition to the zombie-genre library of video games and it has rightfully earned it's title of "most ambitious" If the zombie genre doesn't appeal to you or you believe it's been beaten to death, then avoid this game. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants a good game to rent for the weekend. Get this game if you can get it on sale.

While there are certainly improvements to be made, this game takes AC's climbing mechanics, combines them with Mirror's Edge parkour and introduces Dead Islands fighting and weapon crafting system to make one of the better games in terms of game play. Meanwhile the story is lacking and there should be an option for a timed game (since many of the plot points give you a time frame I.E. you are told that in 48 hours something will happen but can fool around for 4 day and night cycles and be fine). Otherwise the game is quite long with side quests but overall best game I've played since Far Cry 4.

This game is awesome. It starts of a little slow but then to story line picks up. The graphics and story are great. And they come out with new DLC all the time

This game feels like a follow up to the Dead Island games that came out for the previous generation of consoles. I mean that in a good way. In the beginning taking on more than one zombie at a time can get your character into a lot of trouble. As your character progresses and your learn more skills it becomes easier to dispatch zombies. Where it differs (in a good way) from the Dead Island games is the Parkour elements of travel. If you can see something in the game, there is a good chance you can get to that location. This really opens up the world of the game and really makes it fun to explore the map. I highly recommend this game.

Really fun, exciting and scary/suprising at times. there are a few bugs and some more things I would like to see implemented but overall very polished.

So far I have spent about ten hours on this and iy is something different. The graphics are superb. The game play is different. Sure you get to kill some zombies but the main point is zombie avoidance. Able to move around the city and climb on just about anything. Only thing I find a negative is the fact they have you run several buildings out to do a mission and then make you return from where you just came from to complete something then back out. So a lot of back and forth running around. Other than that the game is interesting and has some challenge to it.
