You can't go wrong with a strong mix of first person parkour and zombie killing!

This game has really caught my eye for quite some time. I enjoyed playing Zombies on Call of Duty. This takes in to another level. You are basically running around constantly killing or dodging zombies while doing missions. The nighttime portion of the game keeps you on the edge of your seat as you run for your life trying to stay alive! Or you can play it safe and hang out until dawn.

I bought this after playing dead island for the 360. I knew it was from the same developers and I was not disappointed at all. It is open world and there is something satisfying about slicing off zombie head and arms. The story is a little weak as well as the player animations, however the gameplay more than makes up for that. I highly recommend if you want an open world zombie game.

The creators of Dead Island bring us a very similar, yet substantially more polished experience for the new console generation. Fans of that game will feel right at home here, and the addition of parkour movement leads to much faster and more rewarding gameplay. The graphics have also been considerably improved, resulting in a visually beautiful experience. Some glitchiness aside, this is definitely a game worth playing.

I have no idea why they still plan on releasing Dead Island 2, that's exactly what this game is. If you've played any of the previous iterations of Dead Island, then you will be instantly familiar with this game. Fortunately, they've added enough to the gameplay and story and that it doesn't feel too familiar or like a money grab (see Dead Island: Riptide). Multiplayer works great so far as well. Highly recommended!!

This game is much better than I expected it to be. The tutorial mode is longer than you'd expect it to be which makes you think the game is a little slow, but as soon as you finish it the game ramps up and you're on the edge of your seat. Multiplayer online with this game is also a lot of fun to team up with others or to play as a special zombie and hunt the humans.

I tend to avoid zombie stuff, having been inundated in my youth, but I picked up Dying Light on a recommendation from a friend. Ten minutes in, I was hooked. Lots of blood and guts (it is a zombie game after all), and the plot is fairly standard, but the gameplay itself is addicting and there are enough twists and new enemies to keep you on your toes throughout.

This game has done nothing but exceed my expectations. The parkur is flawless and the combat has remained fun. The weapon customization doesn't get old and there are a ton of them to use. I personally like the storyline and there are a ton of side quests. I promise you will enjoy this game!

This game surprised me because I thought it might be another Dead Island. I did enjoy Dead Island but got bored with it about halfway through the game. The graphics and "scare factor" of Dying Light are fantastic. The story isn't too bad either (it has kept my interest). It's very scary to venture out at night but the rewards are much better. Get your diapers if playing in the dark and by yourself.

This my GOTY. This game play similar to dead island but all the downfalls of that game are fixed and it's much better. The traversal system is unique and makes traveling fun even if you aren't going anywhere. The graphics are very good for a open world and the day/night cycle adds a lot to the game. It's packed full of content and will keep you busy for hours.

I'm a huge Horror genre gamer & I must admit that this game has definitely impressed me & has some of the best gameplay I've experienced in this genre since the likes of the Resident Evil series, Dead Space series, & Manhunt! It's definitely a must have for any gamer looking to spend some quality time escaping fast running zombies in a very immersive story!

while it does not amaze with textures, cut scenes, or voice acting...the combat and parkour movement system are excellent. this makes the gameplay very fun, in fact the game gets better the further into it you get. ans this is a pretty long game. I normally do not like zombie games, but the realistic approach is something I like and can get into. if you are a zombie killing fan, its a no brainer.
