Not what I expected

Did not work

I could get it to work on a pc but it would not stay visible on my mac. This, even after reformatting the HDD multiple times to every option available. I finally returned it to best buy.Even Geek Squad didn't have an answer for that.

This item did not work for me

I had installed a new drive into this enclosure with the intent to image the old drive to this one. The image software kept failing. Viewing the Windows storage manager, I discovered that the drive volume kept appearing and disappearing on frequent intervals. I returned this item and bought a different enclosure. The imaging software then worked flawlessly.
