The only way I gave it a 4 rate because the cable dry. U know then leather boot lace dry up it loses it's flexibility. yup that's what happen when I placed it on my dashboard and passenger seat sunlight dry up the cable but don't get me wrong it's a great cable have it for about a year works like a champ:)

Bought this to take on business trips for rental car tunes from my ipod. Works as needed, no fuss.

This cable works great with my Zune HD but will not stay plugged into my iPhone 4s. As another review wrote, the sound volume using this cable is also lower than with my previous cables. The connectors seem to be heavy duty however and I'm looking forward to them working for a long time--hopefully. If you have a Zune (or most other MP3s players I assume), I recommend it. If you have an iPhone 4s, it's not for you.

This cable does what it's supposed to do and makes great connections between devices. This is a great product for auxiliary connection between iPods and car radios.

The aux wire work really well in my car and with my phone and ipod.

I bought this because it seemed like a great deal for the price and I didn't have any luck with FM transmitters in the past. When it works, the sound quality is great. However, it hardly ever works. The connection sucks and 99% of the time, the sound only comes out of the right side speakers in my car. I have to hold it in and fiddle with the cord to make it work properly which only works a small percentage of the time.

Cables work, what can I say. Good quality and look to be durable.

There is a 3ft and a 6ft cord for this product so make sure you pick the right size for whatever you need it for.

Great clarity through my car speaker system rather than direct connection to the iPhone. Now I can listen to my music anytime...on the road or not.

Needed it for my wifes new Ipod Nano. It has been a good combo package for her.

I could deal with the sound quality, which isn't that bad, if you could hear it better. The volume is just too low. I don't crank the volume, but I"d like to be able to hear it and hear the details of the music. It was just too soft on the sound level. I'm going to take it back. Its just not enjoyable to listen to it.

works exactly as it should, no problems with the product

Purchased this to connect my Ipod Touch 5th Generation to my car's input jack, so i could listen to Ipod music over car speakers. Poor quality. I purchased this one, as it had a long cord. Several other models i looked at had shorter cords, and i was afraid they would be too short to use easily to adjust ipod settings while sitting in passenger seat. Speakers crackle from bad connection. you get what you pay for. so i upgraded and got a better model cord that is shorter, which works perfectly and has good clarity. i recommend spending a little more to get a good quality cord if using this in a car.

This cable functions fine when the device is not in a case. But the plug does go all the way in when the device is in a case. Most cables allow for this now so look elsewhere.

Just purchased this item yesterday from the website. The item I received is not the same item as pictured and described on the website. It is a generic cable with no Dynex ID on the plugs, not gold plated pins and the colors are not the same as pictured. The Best Buy associate said it was the correct item by the SKU, but puzzled when looking at the item on the website. I will return it!

If you are going to use this on your car please don't bought it... un less you don't have your iPhone/iPod on a case...
