My son needed this cable so he can hook up another monitor on his computer. And this is just perfect. Even the length was enough to make everything tie up together. The quality is okay as well. Basically, it satisfied my son and he now fully enjoys the setup in his room. Highly recommended if you needed to hook up an old model monitor to an existing one.

With the new work-from-home situation, I needed to hook up 2 displays to my computer, but it had one HDMI and one Display port, but alas, both of my monitors were only HDMI. Enter this cable. It's sturdy, simple to plug in, and worked right out of the gate. It's a great cable at great price. I was able to order it, and pick it up in a hour!

After buying a new monitor, I was flummoxed to discover that DVI-D was only delivering half the resolution it was capable of. Noting that it had DisplayPort, and so did my video card, I opted to grab this up and make sure the monitor was working correctly. Once both were plugged in it was firing on all cylinders and continues to do so.

This cable is great for a the price. It works well with monitors that are 60hz and that you don't need a fancy one for that displayport gpu (Graphics processing unit) or even HDMI Tvs. If you have a monitor that is 75hz, however, this will not work well for it. I was able to have my one monitor run a full 75hz until I shut it down. When I booted up the system, it reverted back to 60hz.

I bought this for home use as I wanted another monitor and my laptop only had a display port output. This cable goes from display port on the laptop to hdmi on the monitor. It works flawlessly to give me a bigger screen.

I bought this because I didn't release that my computer had 3 different types of connections to video. I was using the HDMI to a TV and I wanted to connect an older monitor that had VGA. So I purchased this put the display port in computer but still have to use another adapter that went from VGA to HDMI. Anyway it work and all is great.

I could not get my docking station to display external monitors no matter what I did. I finally realized I was not using the correct USB C cable which also provided video (not just data). Once received I had it up and running in a few minutes. Just what I needed.

I ordered this cable for my new PC which has DisplayPort 1.2 but my computer monitors have an HDMI input connection. This cable works well. Build looks and feels sturdy with enough length. Just buy this if you need a DisplayPort to HDMI conversion

I picked this cord up on short notice when adding a second screen to my pc set up. Once I got it I was impressed with the quality of the cord it self. And it also has great video quality, over all I am very pleased with it and would buy another one if needed.

Seriously, if you're looking for this specific cable, the odds are you already know what you're doing. As far as I can tell, the differences between the high end expensive name brand versions of this cable and this one literally cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Best Buy cables are usually more expensive than what you can find on Amazon. When I saw a cable that was similarly prices I jumped on the opportunity. For ~$15, this is an absolute steal. The cable feels extremely high quality and is the best option for anyone who needs a DisplayPort to HDMI for a second monitor.

Great cable when you need to get an older screen to work with a newer computer. The 6' length gives you the flexibility to position your monitor in respect to the computer. The price was right as it is simply packaged and it performed just as well as fancily packaged cables at twice the price.

My new desktop only has one HDMI output but 3 Display outputs. This cable is the cheapest that Best Buy sells but I am using 2 of them with no issues at all. Save your money and buy this one.

Strong durable and worked right away when I coined the cable to HP elite book display port to LG TV. Hoe er I sill have not been able to get the same setup work with my far more newer Visio 4K tv monitor. The reason I put 4 stars instead of 5. But I am sure it is some configuration issue rather than withe cable. But thought a buyer might keep this in my their mind that some TVs may pose issues, thought it may not be the cable.

Great product - just what we needed to do dual display from the laptop to our TV. Great Color & Sound and very easy to install. Windows 10 setup everything up automatically. Now we can watch video's and cruise the internet at the same time.

Another product that is great to see Best Buy have in stock. For those wondering, the Display Port carries a standard size, so if your device calls for Display Port, this will fit. The other end is a standard HDMI and will connect into your newer monitor/TV with and HDMI port.

New computer with only 1 HDMI port but 4 Display Port on the NVidea card. Good value, works perfect for 1080P Monitor.

You can also buy from the same store an "Insignia" branded cable that does the same thing for more than twice the price. Save money: get this instead. This was actually hidden behind the employees in the "order pickup" desk.

Years ago I was highly skeptical of purchasing Dynex products because I was not familiar with the brand or brand quality. Now that I have owned several Dynex products for years without issues, it has become one of my "go to" brands. Their products operates as purposed at a great value.

This cable works as advertised but someone (me) didn't read the description correctly. I was hoping to use the displayport on my monitor to HDMI on an Xbox which doesn't work. It does work going from a computer displayport to monitor's HDMI port.
