We needed to find a replacement for a missing DisplayPort adapter on a projection system and found this cable at the local Best Buy. It filled in just fine in a pinch and was solid performing cable. There was no unusual static or noise in our video signal which was great because we were projecting it on a large screen which would have made viewing painful.

We originally wanted to use this cable to connect a 4k TV to the computer, but, as advertised, this resolution is not supported. We ended up moving a 1920 x 1080 monitor to this cable and connecting the 4k TV using the HDMI cable from the other monitor. There have been no issues with this cable on the 1920 x 1080 monitor.

I use these on many computers I set up since most monitors have HDMI and Most Computers have Displayport. I prefer these over a standard VGA cable, the quality seems great and have have no issues with any so far.

I saw this online and it said it was in stock at my local store. When I got there, all I could find were the more expensive cables. After some assistance, we found them stashed away by the checkout area. No need to buy the more expensive one. This one works great. No issues at all.

I cannot believe I am writing a review on this, I keep getting harassed by BB to write reviews for extra points, and that is the only reason I am writing - It is black with silver ends and displays video as intended.

Works perfectly from day 1. No problems with it at all. So I recommend this item, it must be good quality since its been doing it's job flawlessly for about a year so far, for a 13 yr old gamer who surely steps on it ;)

This 'passive' cable properly connects DisplayPort to HDMI for 1080 resolution. Unfortunately, it will not handle 4k resolution. One must obtain an 'active' cable to handle 4k resolution. The cable is well made and has premium connectors.

This was exactly what we needed. I preferred to buy it in store to make sure it was exactly what we needed and it was. Worked great for hooking up our monitor.

I bought these by accident and ended up needing them for a recent purchase. So, I use these to connect my blue-ray player to my Smart tv! Easy to use and the price is great! If you need some HDMI cables, I would recommend them.

I needed this product to help connect my monitor to my PC and my PC only came with one HDMI port. So this product was perfect for what I needed. No problems with this product!

No complaints about this cable. My Dell desktop only had a DisplayPort port for video and no vga/hdmi. BestBuy was the only store that had this cable in stock. Ordered online, picked up in store, and I was in business setting up my new Dell.

great display hdmi to display port awesome works well with my pc graphics card. cant say much havent had any issues.

My connection was to a legacy displayport and I didn't realize that it wouldn't properly negotiate the handshake without an "Active" adaptor. If you have DP++ this cable will work fine. If your display port is legacy DP you need an "Active Adaptor" and an HDMI cable. Live and learn!!

Good cable overall for the price. No issues with the quality. Keep in mind, this is NOT active. If you are using this on a Windows machine, especially with a multiple monitor setup, when the display goes to sleep, everything on the desktop WILL shift.

I was re-purposing an old pc that has a DisplayPort video out connection. I'd never heard of it, but there it was - just waiting for this lovely cable. The other end fits snugly into the HDMI port of my new Dell monitor. Voila! Video delivered!

Honestly didnt fix my issue since I couldnt get the monitor to work but its a decent option if youre okay with sacrificing DP quality for HDMI compatibility. (Has issues with my gpu not wanting to display anything through this cable).

Works just as intended at a great value for the cost. Was the only brand in stock so decided to try it out and it works without any issues. Better overall fit than using seperate display port adapter and hdmi cable.

My company sent 2 monitors and 2 vga cables but I only had one vga port. This solves the problem faster than waiting for IT to send the right port and kept me in production.

The newer computers have a different monitor connector but most monitors have either HDMI or monitor cable connectors such as DVI and VGA cables. So now you have to get a connection that will go with the newer DisplayPort connection. Cable works great.

This is the cable you need if you have a HP desktop or Dock with display ports only. Inexpensive and better availability than the "smile box" vendor The cable is a good thickness and does not feel cheap like some other guys.
