    How do i return this item? It does not offer ANY improvement over VGA & quite a few times does not wake up the monitor. I have stopped using it already.

    I recently bought a third monitor to complete my setup, and this cable works great to convert my display from a DisplayPort (on graphics card) to an HDMI (monitor)! I will list my specs below: GeForce Windforce 1080 graphics card with 3 DisplayPorts, and only one HDMI port. My main (center) monitor is an ASUS VG248QE (1080p, 144hz) that uses one of my three DisplayPort connections, so no problem there. My two side monitors, ASUS VG245H (1080p, 75hz), each required an HDMI port. One was plugged into the provided HDMI slot, while the other was connected with this cable. The display came on instantly, and have had no issues since.

    Warning, passive cable

    this cable has the correct connections I needed, but is a passive cable, and for most applications you need an active cable. do not get if connecting through a dock from a MacBook pro.

    Broke after 3 weeks

    I ordered 2. They worked but one stopped working after 3 weeks. They are past the return period so not too happy with this purchase.
