    Does exactly like it is supposed to. 6 feet is really short though. May want to get a longer one unless devices are right next to each other

    I use this to connect my blu-ray player to my old model 720p plasma TV that doesn't have HDMI ports. I had to buy component cables to use with it. For a regular setup (just a HDTV and a player) this works just fine. People with super high-end home theaters probably wouldn't use these though.

    I've been a fan of Dynex for some time now - one of my TV's is a Dynex. So when I needed an AV cable that was priced fairly and functioned well, I looked to Dynex first.

    Hooked up by my friends sons, who are definitely not techie, there was no audio on her TV. I called my son who IS techie and he told me exactly what I needed and that the 3 cables already connected were only for the hi-def video. Got the cable, voila! Works great and the sound quality is very good.
