    I bought this card because the onboard ethernet interface of my MS Windows 10 pc was malfunctioning. I did not have to use the CD. But it was not a simple task since the card did not come with small faceplate. It would be smart to include a small face plate. If I noticed that it did not have the small faceplate, I would not buy it. Simply make sure it will fit, or use it without the face plate.

    I used this card to replace integrated Ethernet that had gone bad. Even though not listed it works great in Ubuntu (Linux) using the Realtek drivers. The card's speed works at 1000 Mbps.

    HP desktop had builtin 100mbps ethernet so I needed a gigabit card to handle the newer xfinity speeds. Getting 120mbps on my 100mbps plan!

    Worked great out of the box. No issues. I plugged it in, turned on my computer and I had an internet connection. The Ethernet on my motherboard got taken out by lightning. This was an excellent replacement.

    I thought I'd reviewed this before, but got an email asking for a review. Anyhow, when the Ethernet on my MB went flaky, I bought this as a replacement. My Lenovo desktop (Win 10 upgrade) immediately recognized the device and installed the correct Realtek driver. For the price I'm very pleased.

    I tried to install the card, but Windows did not find the drivers. Tried downloading them from the internet, but none were on the site. Emailed support and they said to install the drivers from the CD, but there was no CD in the box. Would not recommend this product. Spend the money for a better one.
