I'm not sure what it is, but this "matt" type isn't as sturdy as the original one. And, the finishing gloss isnt there with this one. Not what what they did different about it.

Price worth it

All hair care products, including this Airstrait straightener are more than excelent for hair styling every day. My hair has not any damage and since I use this products looks better. I see it as an investment, cause I don't need to spend money at beauty salons. The prices worth it!
