It really does not dry super well or straighten well. I have tried multiple methods for using this product. I tried with wet hair, took about 30 minutes and that was a little understandable because my hair was super wet. I also tried 30 minutes after shower where my hair was 60% dry and that still took 20 minutes and my hair was not straight.

However the appliance is bulky and awkward to manage and the process is pulling out and damaging a lot of my hair. Overall dissapointing. I wound up losing the iron with a luggage problem. Although I am upset to lose a costly purchase, I won’t miss this at all; just the wasted money.

Then went back to Colorado, and it didn't work, it just showed a 'Reset!' Error. Contacted Dyson directly and they confirmed it doesn't work in cities above 7000 ft. I think that should be in the box as a warning or something. Ended up returning it.

The plate is so thick that it’s hard to use. I hoped it would help with drying my hair too but I see no difference that using my regular hair dryer. It is so pretty though!
