My new favorite tool. Very light and powerful. I mean it’s Dyson so it does live up it’s name. It was a little confusing at first but after that very user friendly. Will recommend! Got it when it was on sale and I’m glad I did! Bought a bag though coz it didn’t come with anything except for it’s silicone mat

When i was looking for a last minute brazilian blowout treatments before the new years eve and was so afraid of being harmed by harmful chemicals, i found this. I was so amazed by the result! My hair was brazilian treated before, but it gets really frizzy now. It literally took me 5 mins to make my hair look like it was treated in a salon. Best gift to my self in 2023.

I absolutely love this makes my hair so healthy and smooth feeling. Only downside is it is a bit heavy and not compacted making it a bit hard to travel with.

This is my 1st ever Dyson! And I love the airstrait straightner!! It's awesome and makes my hair feel soft. Love that you can use it from wet to dry or just dry. Love that it straightens my hair without a lot of effort. It is a little heavy but I'll get used to it.

Using this is extremely simple and easy once you get the hang of it. With my hair, it took me 20 min to go from wet, to dry and straight! I honestly think that it’s much straighter after using this rather than my normal straightner too! For reference, my hair is fine but I have a lot of it, and it is down to my mid/lower back. My natural hair’s texture is curly/wavy. After I use it on the wet mode, my hair always feels softer and straighter than my usual blow dry/ straighen methods. The reasons I docked off a star are as follows: ! If someone had hair that was very thick and took longer to work through, their arm would get tired for sure because its quite heavy. Also, when using the cool shot my hair gets very static and frizzy…. I havent figured that out yet. Also, yes the price is crazy so I would wait for a sale if youre considering it. It’s a 2 in 1 way of blow drying, and straightening your hair simultaneously so if you put those 2 tools into consideration then the price is not horrible.

My wife has always said she struggles constantly with her hair being frizzy. I decided to surprise her with this and she was so excited, she quickly grabbed it and ran to the restroom to take a shower to try it out with her hair wet. I patiently waited for the verdict and not even 20 minutes after she got out of the shower, her hair was super straight and it looked smooth. Usually she takes more than half and hour to dry her hair and then straighten it. This did both at the same time. She was so happy and said that ever since we have bought it, it will save her so much time to get ready for work. Now she will have more time to make her coffee and leave earlier for work. I highly recommend this and my wife does as well.

It's a magnificent product. It has the option to dry and straighten. The time it takes is very fast, and it leaves your hair looking beautiful. For example, my hair is wavy, and when I use the airstrait, it straightens easily and doesn't damage it. I'm very happy I bought this airstrait Dyson!! It is the Best!

I bought this as a gift for my wife who never asked, wanted or heard of it. Because of this, her expectations were low. After all, what Dyson promises with this dryer/straightener seems too good to be true. I on the other hand, I had high expectations. To be fair, it's not cheap and high price tags don't always mean you're getting a superior product. For that kind of money, it better be. I took advantage of Best Buys Drops that saved me a lot on it so I thought it would be worth a try. My wife has thick, long, wavy, course hair that not only takes longer to wash but takes even longer to dry and straighten. She loves having absolutely straight hair and will go through her hair multiple times with her traditional flat iron before she's happy. All the while, the heat can be damaging which means we keep a regular supply of products for repairing and protecting her hair. Just after trying the Dyson once, we were both left in shock how well and how quickly it worked. She had dry and perfectly straight hair in 15 minutes; a process that normally took well over 30 minutes before. Even better, breakage and fly-aways was pretty non-existent. The most impressive part was how well it held, never having to come back minutes or hours later to touch-up. We could tell a difference after she slept on it too because it still required little or no straightening. She absolutely loves it and I believe her hair does too because it's noticably healthier just after a couple of weeks of use. I waited until after she used it the first time before revealing how much I paid. I was expecting the "OMG" response followed by the demand to return it but to my surprise, that never happened. She and I agree that it's worth it because it's leaps and bounds better than the countless dryers and straighteners she's used in the past. The true value isn't the product itself but rather the time my wife saves from doing the one thing she doesn't enjoy. If you can justify the cost on those grounds, then it's worth the investment. Otherwise there are plenty of cheaper alternatives with the same outcome but they may cost more in the long run. I'll conclude with this; Dyson has made us believers.

I purchased this hoping it wouldn't live up to the hype. I had every intention of getting it out of my system after trying it out and then returning it. However, it truly is AMAZING!!! Definitely worth the big investment. I have very thick, coarse, wavy/curly hair. It usually takes me about 35 minutes to blow dry and then at least another half hour to flat iron. With the Airstrait, I started at 28 minutes from wet to dry AND straight, and now I'm down to about 20 minutes. A bit of a learning curve, but I am totally LOVING this tool. Highly recommend.

Originally got one delivered with no delivery box, just the Dyson box itself, which was all damaged and the product itself kind of seemed like it had been used so that was frustrating. Thankfully best buy handled the situation and sent me a new one (actually in a delivery box this time). Product itself is good! I have long really thick hair and I can get my hair dry and mostly straightened within 15 minutes which is really good compared to my other regular blow dryers. A little on the pricier side but I'd say it was worth it. I'd recommend getting this product, but maybe just buy it in stores vs online!
