I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife, and since she started using it, she hasn’t touched her regular hair dryer anymore. She loves how convenient it is — it cuts down the time she needs to fix her hair, and she feels it causes less heat damage compared to traditional plate straighteners. Definitely one of the best gifts I’ve gotten her.

My natural hair type is wavy and kind of coarse. I typically use both a blow dryer and a straightener every single day, so I decided to purchase this. I will say I love the blow dryer enough to keep this. The straightener is extremely clunky and therefore is hard to get it close to your roots/head for a good straighten. Forget even trying to get baby hairs or even really bangs. It’s like a sleeker blow out but definitely doesn’t compare to a real hot iron. If I’m having a casual day and I don’t care too much how I look, I’ll use this and I feel presentable. If I have actual plans, I’ll use this but also touch up with a real hot iron. I know some people don’t want to spend that much money if they’re still going to need two appliances, and that’s understandable. But I feel like my hair was getting so damaged it was worth keeping.

The Dyson Airstraight is a game changer. I rarely ever did my hair because of the time it took to blow dry it and then straighten it. Now I can do both at the same time and within 10 minutes my hair is dry, straight and looks great.

Annoyed I bought the Dyson Airwrap first, this was all I needed. As other reviews say, this is not a flat iron, but imagine you got a blow out with a hair dryer and a brush and it only took 15 minutes - that's the result. For reference, I have red hair, curly-ish, thick and coarse. I didn't find it heavy, which ppl seem to comment on, also who am I to deny an extra arm day.

We absolutely love the Dyson Airstrait. The biggest win is that it straightens without damaging hair. It delivers a smooth, professional-looking finish in just 15–20 minutes. I bought it for my wife, who has thick, wavy hair, and she loves it. It handles her hair easily and leaves it looking sleek, healthy, and salon-quality without the heat damage. (and it saves trips to the salon....)

Absolutely loving it!! My hair feels and looks amazing and the style lasts for days! Normally, I would just let my hair air dry to avoid any damage and to save time. I have straight hair that doesn't really hold any curl or styling. But even after it's completely dry, I'd get kinks from scrunchies or even sleeping. Styling with Dyson Airstrait gives me salon quality hair at home every single time. I can pull my hair in a pony tail or a bun and it still keeps the style leaving no kinks after. I also feel like it adds even more lustrousness to my already lustrous hair, so overall, my hair looks chic and polished with minimum effort and time. It is an investment but it easily pays for itself over just a few sessions, compared to the cost of hair salons. Plus, I got it as Deal of the Day promotion at a nice 25% off.

This is well worth the price, although it is on the pricier side. It's basically ally a blow dryer straightener that doesn't damage your hair the way a flat iron does. It works great on all textures (I have 4b/4c curl pattern). This is now my go to hair tool. I'm selling my previous flat iron :)

As someone with long 2A/2B hair extending past my shoulders, my locks exhibit a unique characteristic - they're straighter at the roots than at the ends. Not to mention, they also tend to be quite frizzy. However, using this product, I was pleasantly surprised to see it successfully straighten my wet hair in about 20 minutes, eliminating all frizz. It's worth noting that it won't render your hair as poker-straight as a flat iron would, but that's not what I was seeking. What it achieved instead was a beautifully natural, straight look complete with an impressive shine - a result I greatly appreciated. However, a word of caution for those with hair that's curlier or wavier at the roots: this product might not work as effectively. It can be challenging to get close to the scalp, and thus, might not yield the desired straightening effect. Despite this minor limitation, I found this product highly effective for my needs.

I noticed this on sale at Best Buy and mentioned it to my wife, and her comment after buying was "It's the best thing to dry and straighten hair ever!" She then showed it to our daughter, and the next thing you know, I am buying one for her too. It didn't hurt that it was her birthday... We love Dyson home and hair care products pretty much across the spectrum, as we have three Dyson vacuum cleaners, a fan/air purifier, a hair dryer, a hair straightener, and now the Airstrait Straightener. No doubt they are all expensive, but they do go on sale from time to time. They simply work well and they last, and that can be considered as economical in the long run I suppose. The hair products are designed to protect the hair as they work and help to prevent damage to your hair. That alone is worth the cost. Treat yourself to Dyson and see for yourself.

Best flat iron ever made. My wife uses this ever time she needs to straighten her hair as well as my daughters hair. We will never use any products except DYSON.

I have three teenage daughters, all with long thick hair. The Airstrait cuts drying and straightening from at least an hour each to 15 mins per person. Expensive, but we will get our money's worth back in time and hair health!

Love it. I was hesitant to spend so much money on a device but it works and saves time and the results are amazing. The plus is a little heavy but it is not as loud as a hair dryer.

I have thick long hair this product is amazing. My hair is dried and straight in 15 min. I actually enjoy doing my hair now. If you dont like this product at first give it a couple more trys it will be worth it!! I did not like it the first time but now I love it!

Wife seems like love it. Uses it every day! Would recommend although it is a bit pricey.
