I noticed this on sale at Best Buy and mentioned it to my wife, and her comment after buying was "It's the best thing to dry and straighten hair ever!" She then showed it to our daughter, and the next thing you know, I am buying one for her too. It didn't hurt that it was her birthday... We love Dyson home and hair care products pretty much across the spectrum, as we have three Dyson vacuum cleaners, a fan/air purifier, a hair dryer, a hair straightener, and now the Airstrait Straightener. No doubt they are all expensive, but they do go on sale from time to time. They simply work well and they last, and that can be considered as economical in the long run I suppose. The hair products are designed to protect the hair as they work and help to prevent damage to your hair. That alone is worth the cost. Treat yourself to Dyson and see for yourself.

I have thick long hair this product is amazing. My hair is dried and straight in 15 min. I actually enjoy doing my hair now. If you dont like this product at first give it a couple more trys it will be worth it!! I did not like it the first time but now I love it!

I have three teenage daughters, all with long thick hair. The Airstrait cuts drying and straightening from at least an hour each to 15 mins per person. Expensive, but we will get our money's worth back in time and hair health!

Love it. I was hesitant to spend so much money on a device but it works and saves time and the results are amazing. The plus is a little heavy but it is not as loud as a hair dryer.

By far the best Dyson purchase I've made. It was $100 off because of the color. Love it so much! I haven’t touched my air wrap or regular Dyson blow dryer since i got it. Very user-friendly. From wet to dry and straightened on naturally curly shoulder length hair in less than 10 min.

This is the most amazing product I have ever used. Help my hair to look perfectly straight in 15 minutes without damaging it. Easy to use, great product. The only thing is the cord is bulky and doesn’t work on 220v when travel

Annoyed I bought the Dyson Airwrap first, this was all I needed. As other reviews say, this is not a flat iron, but imagine you got a blow out with a hair dryer and a brush and it only took 15 minutes - that's the result. For reference, I have red hair, curly-ish, thick and coarse. I didn't find it heavy, which ppl seem to comment on, also who am I to deny an extra arm day.

This straightener works very well. It is lightweight, heats and cools quickly and has a good variety of settings for pretty much all hair needs (wet/dry, warm/cool, multiple temperature settings. It takes the place of not only a traditional hair straightener but also a hair dryer as it can dry completely wet hair fully and more quickly. And, since the air is more concentrated, you can dry your hair without heating up the whole room - a big deal going into the summer! One drawback - it doesn't do as good a job on shorter pieces of hair due to the size of the implement so I wouldn't throw out the traditional straightener quite yet. Overall it's a great device and I would recommend it.

It makes my wife life easier, since she only need this item. No need for something else. Using it, we have more time for the family. My daughter also use the Dyson Straightener due to all the benefits.

I really can use it with dry or wet hair and the results are great either way. Definitely a must have!

It is a great product and I am loyal to Dyson. The only concern is getting to the root. It often does get the dry completely.

The Dyson Airstraight is a game changer. I rarely ever did my hair because of the time it took to blow dry it and then straighten it. Now I can do both at the same time and within 10 minutes my hair is dry, straight and looks great.

3 years ago i bought the Dyson Supersonic and Airwrap ( xmas gift to myself) following year i bought the cordless flat iron ( i like it- but not love it ) because battery doesn’t last long ( but for a touch up- its a great machine) NOW this Airstrait - is a complete game changer! I absolutely love it- my hair is down to my waist- wavy frizzy naturally- this machine made my hair beautiful-shining- and looked better and softer the next day ( actually 2-3 days ) plus only took me 15-20 minutes to dry- if you’re a dyson hair groupie lol this is a must have. All my machines are great- depending on what kind of hairstyles i want to do.. so i will be keeping all- if you have only the money to buy 1 - get the Airstrait for sure- then airwrap second of you want to make curls etc. you won’t be disappointed…

My wife has had the the Dyson airstraight for over a month. It performs well and works as intended. She says she loves it as it dries and straightens her hair at the same time. She saves alot of time. Great purchase.

I love this product; it works amazingly and it's true to its functions. I only don't love that after a while I have frizz, but that's not related to the Dyson.

I was very skeptical about the Airstrait, especially given the price, but it really is a miracle worker for my hair. I have long, coarse, thick hair which has a medium wave but is also what I like to call “floofy” and unruly. I’ve spent years and countless dollars on Japanese & Brazilian straightening, but changed more recently to Magic Sleek trying to minimize damage yet still have hassle free hair. That stopped working for me so i begrudgingly reverted to blow drying then flat ironing. Until this. This is a game changer. It straightens my hair with far less heat damage and in roughly the same time it would take to just blow dry my hair. I’m never getting a straightening process again, and in fact this actually saves me money.
