A little bit of a learning curve as it was totally different than anything she had used before but with a little practice she is good to go. According to her the curls last longer and so does the volume. She is still playing around with the other attachments but said she would recommend

It does not hold a curl longer then an hour. Everyone is like “you need to use Bobby pins,” but I’m sorry you should not need to Bobby pin your curls when using a $600 hair tool. My $20 curling iron does a better job and my curls last all day with no pinning or product. This is a huge waste of money.

Posted .Hello Lauren, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to learn that in your personal use, you have found that your curls drop while using the Dyson Airwrap multi-styler. The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels.
