As expensive as a vacuum ! Works well she said, exception is if you have a lot of hair. She has thick dense hair and it doesn't seem to curl as well. Having know that, I would not have bought it for her.

You are better off purchasing and using separate appliances for the look(s) you want. The brush attachments do not grip hair (for smoothing), and the round brush attachment is too small even though my hair is merely shoulder length. I thought this would be a great device for travel, but it takes up as much room and is as heavy or heavier than separate devices that do better stand-alone jobs.
