My curling iron takes me 5-7 minutes to do all hair. And the Dyson took me 20 min just to do one section of my hair. Definitely taking it back. I thought it would be better since it dries and stylies your hair but it doesnt. Dont buy especially if youre an on the go type of momma.

Posted .Hello Cynthia, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you're having some trouble with getting curls to hold, while you're using your Airwrap. If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls. It is pretty easy to use but takes a little bit to get used to and I feel like I'm still getting use to. I love how it makes my hair look blown out and just so pretty. I used a gift card to buy it, so I don't think it is something that I would buy with my own money. Just because I don't think I could justify the price. But I do think it is worth it and makes doing my hair so much easier and more fun too.

The Airwrap styler does have a bit of a learning curve to it, including making sure to use the right barrels; each barrel has arrows which show which way the machine will wrap the hair once it captures with the Coanda effect.
The Airwrap styler can be used with your favorite hair product, if needed, to maintain your style.

For more than $600, I expect this thing to work like a dream. However, that was not the case. it is embarrassing that companies like Dyson are selling products that don’t work. I have thick, long hair, and this did not work for me at all. Very disappointing! so glad I returned it.

Not for short medium layered hair

I so wanted to love it, watched hours of videos on use. Its for long hair mine is highlights shoulder length and it did not work at all and the round brush was awful. I sent it back after trying it for 2 days so so disappointed.

This is Miella from Dyson. The Dyson Airwrap™ styler is meant to be used in conjunction with a hairdryer (or our very own Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer!) as a styling tool. It is not recommended for use to dry your hair. However, it can be used with slightly damp hair, as it does utilize heat in conjunction with the Coanda effect to style hair without extreme temperatures. Very beautiful and fast blower!

For me it is more easily to blow my hair with this Dyson, also its technology makes the process faster than a regular blow dryer and you can try several looks with the diferent appliances. It is important to know that this a hot tool that do not be used every day.

I have beyond chest length hair and this dried/styled it in 15-minutes tops. Usually it would have taken me 30+ minutes in the past. Love my Dyson Air Wrap!
