Okay, so I’ll be real! I didn’t want to love this. Spending $600 on a hair tool felt ridiculous. But after months of seeing it all over TikTok and hearing friends rave about it, I caved. I’ve been using the Dyson Airwrap for about 2 months now, and here’s the honest truth: it’s really, really good. I have thick, shoulder-length hair that usually takes me forever to dry and style. I’ve fried it with flat irons and curling wands over the years, so I was hoping this would be gentler, and it absolutely is. The biggest difference I noticed is how healthy my hair looks. No crunchy ends, no frizz from overheating. It actually looks smoother and shinier, even on days when I barely try. The curling barrels were the hardest part to figure out. At first, I had no clue how to use them (tip: make sure your hair is damp, not wet). But once I got the hang of it, the curls came out soft and bouncy, and they held better than I expected though I still need some product to keep them in all day. The smoothing brush is my favorite attachment. It makes my hair look like I got a professional blowout, minus the arm workout. That said, it’s not perfect. It’s expensive. Like, really expensive. And I wish the curls lasted longer without hairspray. Plus, if you have super thick or curly hair, this might not be powerful enough to give you the results you want without extra work. But for me? Salon style blowout every time. It’s not your typical hair curler so don’t expect that. I use redken blowout and redken brushable hair spray and use it on damp hair and the blowout style lasts up to two days.should not be this expensive but I don’t regret the purchase, I use it all the time.

This airwrap I purchased at my local Best Buy was exactly what my wife was looking for in terms of quality and upgrade. Ulta beauty supply has the same one but I chose to purchase through Best Buy because of there amazing competitive prices and rewards system. It also helped with what they had to offer as far as 0% interested on their credit card promotion! Defiantly my go to store for small and major purchases, super customer positive experience!

I was so ready to try this versatile product! I am still learning some tips and tricks that work for my hair but so far it works great. A little heavy but it beats holding a brush on one hand and a blow dryer on the other.
