I had to exchange it, and now the new one works. It doesn’t work on extremely wet hair, which is when the included hair dryer attachment comes in handy. There is a certain learning curve when it comes to using the curler however.

Got half way done my hair and poof it stopped working. Super upset i haven't even had it for a year. It’s way to expensive to crap out on me

It's lightweight and easy to use which is perfect since I've had hand surgery. It does not cause heat damage to my hair abd the style holds until I wash it again.

It used to take her a few hours to get her hair done and now it’s done much faster.

The video says your hair should be 80% dry, even at 80% it doesn't wrap that well, it has worked better for me if I just dry it all the way. If you are expecting a nice tight organized curl, this will be a lot of work to get what you are expecting. There are still other products out there that will curl better. I am going to keep mine, I will use the smooth brush out tool and will use it to curl when I don't need a particular style. For the money, there are other products that do a better job. It will also serve has a backup to my Dyson hair dryer. The airwrap is a great concept but I would say still needs refining.

You may wish to play around with the level of dampness in your hair, while using the styler. In my own personal use I have found that if my hair is completely dry, my style doesn't last as long, especially if I am putting in curls. You may find success with starting to a styling product such as a mousse, styling with damp hair, and making sure to use the cool shot to set the style, finishing with a holding spray.
Dyson Airwrap™ wraps entirely through the use of airflow and the naturally occurring phenomenon of the Coanda effect. Air, when propelled at the right speed and pressure, naturally follows an adjacent surface, entraining surrounding air. The Dyson Airwrap™ styler creates a spinning vortex of air around the barrel that attracts, wraps and curls hair. The combination of damp hair, airflow and not applying extreme heat to hair during the drying process helps to lock in your style, whether you're looking for a straight finish, waves or curls.

I’m only using the curling iron attachments now but I’m sure I’ll use the others in the future!
