The first time I tried it I thought I was making a mess but then I couldn't believe how great my hair looked. It really made me smile.

Not for thick hair

Oh I got a small amount of curl, but not enough to justify the price ! My hair is thick and below my shoulders.

We're sorry to hear that you found the barrels didn't work well with your longer, thicker hair. Pricey but fun!!

After several weeks of using it exclusively, my hair feels soft and holds some wave the following day. My hair being thin and very fine, rarely does anything but crimp and clump after sleeping on it. For me, this actually gave me hair that I could go out and about in, without stepping in the shower or turning on the curling iron. I can't wait until I get it all figured out. Kind of an adventure!!! LOL.

My wife really wanted one, so I pulled the trigger for a Christmas Present. The first few times she used it, she was not that thrilled. Her hair is on the finer side and she had the settings to max. Once she backed it down, and started getting used to it, she found it to be all she hoped for. It is less damaging on her hair, and she is able to do some light curls and they stay in for about half the day, which she actually likes. So all in all, good job Dyson.
