My Daughter is biracial and has very curly hair, previous to this I was using the revelon styler, it was loud and got really hot, the dyson is not loud at all and doesn’t get too hot to ruin the hair, I use the round brush attachment and her hair comes out smooth! I wish I purchased this dyson styler earlier

Dry hair while you brush it out, no problem. Curl hair while dying it, no problem. A smart tool that doesn't further damage hair and saves you time. My hair routine was so old school, love stepping into the future with my machine.

Styling my hair is now a lot quicker than before and I felt that it doesn't hurt my hair much compared to other hair stylers/dryers. The coanda effect seemed like marketing to me initially, however, I can see the style it creates on my hair. It is effective. Goes away soon though.

I was very skeptical that this product would be worth the expense, but I am so glad I decided to invest in one. It has been fun experimenting with the various attachments on my shorter hair. My hair looks professionally styled once done. Very nice carrying case. Because of cost, certainly not for everyone.

I have long thick, curly hair, and the Dyson Airwrap cut my drying and styling time. the air flow is powerful, but not too hot, so it does not damage my hair. It is expensive, but I would definitely recommend making the investment to purchase this high quality product.

Dyson dies after 9 months RETURNING & NOT REBUYING

It did make nice, easy curls, but your hair has to be wet for it to work. So, on the day after you wash your hair, you have to use a regular curling iron to curl your hair. But the reason for the bad review is that I’ve owned this Dyson product that I paid well over four hundred dollars for less than a year, and it stopped working. It tries to turn on, makes a buzzing sound and then stops and doesn’t power on. I think the filter has to be cleaned, but I cleaned it exactly how they told me to clean it, and still nothing. Luckily, I bought the extended warranty because I’m returning it to Best Buy. I love Best Buy and love that they protect their buyers. They will take back any item if you bought their protection plan, no questions asked. I LOVE BEST BUY! I buy from them over Amazon every day because of their return policy. Best company ever.

Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're glad to hear that in your use, you found that the Dyson Airwrap made such long-lasting curls in your hair. The Dyson Airwrap was designed to work best with damp hair, however all 3 of the brushes can be used on wet hair. If you do start with wet hair and you desire to use the curling barrels, you'd want to start with taking your hair from wet to damp using the pre-styling dryer. If you begin with dry hair, you can use a water spray bottle to dampen each section of hair as you style.
It's very unusual to hear that your Airwrap isn't working properly. Hearing a buzzing noise would be unusual. Rest assured, Dyson does back all new units from an authorized retailer with a free 2-year guarantee.
