It had happened back to back times. For something this expensive things like this should not happen.

Personally I think it was a little pricey hence the 4 star rating but for the quality and how much she loved it, it was worth it!

I was so excited to try this and wanted to love it so much, but I experienced what a lot of other reviews said in that the curls did not hold at all. I thought the round brush attachment would be great for blowouts but I got a lot of flyaways and my hair felt very staticy after use. For the price, I was hoping it would be a replacement for other hair tools but it definitely is not. I also think the barrels are too short for hair any longer than shoulder length so I would have had to invest in the long barrel attachments. My hair is not very thick and only a few inches past the shoulder and I still found the barrels to be too short. I also did not realize that I would have to change out the barrel for each side of my hair- not ideal if you want to mix up the direction of the curls for a more natural look- just so cumbersome. Finally, it takes FOREVER. This is not a time saving tool at all. Overall I was not happy enough with the results to justify the cost so I returned it.

The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls.

The tool helps in concealing the extremely dry and damaged hair. My only complaint is that the included curling barrels aren't able to curl my long hair well.
