Have yet to figure out how to get my hair to hold the curls. I wouldn’t recommend buying it for the price if you’re looking for beautiful curls, mine only last about 30 min.. I have long hair so it would’ve been nice to know about the long barrels or had that as an option, they are 39.99 in addition to the cost of the kit. Was pretty disappointed… however, I do love the volume I get from using the other attachments. If I was gonna do it again, I probably wouldn’t..

Posted .Hi Megs, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're glad to hear that thus far in your use, you've found the pre-styling dryer and brushes in your Airwrap kit to work so well. Curls can be tricky. If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls.

I decided to upgrade from the Revlon One-Step Hairdryer brush to the Dyson Airwrap, but I don't think is worth the expense. I think they can improve on the temperature settings to turn the heat up for thicker hair. As a result drying my hair takes twice as long and it does not "stay" straight or curled. After a few minutes it gets frizzy and it just not as polished as if done with the traditional tools. Honestly, I would save the money and wait for a more powerful product.

Dyson Airwrap™ wraps entirely through the use of airflow and the naturally occurring phenomenon of the Coanda effect. Air, when propelled at the right speed and pressure, naturally follows an adjacent surface, entraining surrounding air. The Dyson Airwrap™ styler creates a spinning vortex of air around the barrel that attracts, wraps and curls hair. The combination of damp hair, airflow and not applying extreme heat to hair during the drying process helps to lock in your style, whether you're looking for a straight finish, waves or curls.
If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
