It is too expensive for all the issues it has. The first machine I got I had to return because a small section of the attachment connector lining melted, so the attachments fell off while using it. I am not sure how the melting happened since I never abused the machine. I asked for a replacement, and now the replacement has stopped working. At first, it was cutting off after a few seconds and flashing a white light. Now, it is flashing red and does not turn on. I am out of warranty, so I cannot get another replacement. I will take it to the service center to see if it can be fixed. I am so disappointed with all the issues I have had with the Airwrap. I have never had any issues with my other Dyson products.

However, I would go for the gift edition if you can find one, since the price is the same and you get that extra fancy pouch for the same price. Which otherwise would cost you $50+ if purchased separately.

She has long thick wavy hair and likes to straighten it. She loved the gift. It’s lightweight, does not get nearly as hot as a dryer and dries her hair quickly.

The first time I used it, I had bouncy curls which thrilled me. They lasted 2 or 3 days. Second time I used it, my hair was dryer then the first time using it. Third time I changed heads and used the smaller roller. Again I got bouncy curls. So I know the secret... don’t use it on washed & dried hair. I haven’t used any hair products yet, but I got some today and I’ll try again tomorrow. I have noticed that the ends of my hair dry out faster then the rest of my hair, I have shoulder length/ dyed hair and it’s pretty fine.
