My fiance loves it! She struggled to dry her long hair and did not even attempt to style her hair before. It comes with multiple stylers to curl and dry different ways. While it takes a bit of practice to get used to, its much easier and faster than using a comb and a regular dryer. Air blows evenly and even with the highest heat, it wont damage the hair.

There is definitely a learning curve to using this tool so don’t loose hope if everything is a mess on your first try. I’ve been using this item for three weeks and have gotten the hang of it but for the curls and styles to last I find that it takes a much longer time to set it. For example when curling my hair from wet to dry, I have to make sure it is completely dry from the curling and then use the cool shot to set it. Sometimes even though the curl feels dry, once it completely cools after 5 mins or so you Can tell it’s still slightly damp and the curl starts to unravel. Then you’ll have to go back and recurl and reset with cool shot and that takes time because it takes a good 30-40 seconds before the cool shot is actually cool to the touch. All in all it just takes too long to get your hair right. The other attachments works fine but also takes a while to dry from damp hair (even after using the dryer attachment). I find that the smooth and volume attachments leave my hair frizzy and have to pass it those a number of times before it is no longer frizzy. The power of the air flow is excellent and using the dryer attachment works fine but it isn’t as hot as a normal hair dryer and takes much longer. I still have to use my flat iron to put finishing touches on my hair weather it’s defrizzing certain parts of my hair, fixing a curl, or styling the front of my hair so it lays the way I want. It’s not really worth the money since you have to go through so much trouble to get your style right and if you still have to use your other hair tools. I say get it if you don’t mind the learning curve but don’t throw out your hair dryer and flat iron just yet.

I thought about this purchase for a long time. I read reviews & was very torn because of the price. It's a big expense, especially since I don't do anything to my hair besides getting trims 2 or 3 times a year. However Best Buys 90 day guarantee and a very rare 20% Best Buy card discount (that didn't exclude the Dyson brand) let me know it was now or never. I have very thick, long, strong, straight, & stubborn hair but the Airwrap gives me more movement & body. There is a learning curve so don't expect perfection immediately but after 2 or 3 attempts you pretty much have the hang of it. I use it at night after my shower to dry & curl my hair. I use the smaller barrels to create tighter curls and then go to sleep. In the morning I have soft loose curls and I always get a lot compliments. I like to sleep until the last minute so doing something with my hair in the morning is never an option. If I don't want to curl my hair I still prefer to dry it with the dryer and smoothing brush. Even without curls my hair has more body and actually feels different then when I use my CHI hairdryer. I don't like to damage my hair so I'm very selective of any tools and the Airwrap is much less damaging then anything I've tried. I wanted to be disappointed with the Airwrap because of the expense but it really does do a better job and worth it the investment. It was my Valentines present to myself, LOL!

I took a chance and I’m glad I did! This thing is awesome. My hair looks great!

My wife loves it! The travel box is big though and takes up alot of space, making it difficult to travel with.
