Dyson expensive

I watched 1 million YouTube tutorials and bought a stupid amount of different product to make sure it not NOT user error. To quote the grinch “hate, hate, hate.. Loathe entirely”. Glorified curling iron and your curls fall. Will Not get your hair straight and the round brush is to small for a good blow out. I’m fighting with Best Buy and dyson trying to get my money back because I had it a month... Best Buy only takes back 2 weeks. But, I honestly wanted to try everything possible to get it to work and gave up after a month. Don’t buy this. Waste of money.

The Airwrap™ Complete Styler was designed for those who want the versatility of a styler to create curls and waves, or a smooth finish. Dyson Airwrap™ wraps entirely through the use of airflow and the naturally occurring phenomenon of the Coanda effect. Air, when propelled at the right speed and pressure, naturally follows an adjacent surface, entraining surrounding air. The Dyson Airwrap™ styler creates a spinning vortex of air around the barrel that attracts, wraps and curls hair. The combination of damp hair, airflow and not applying extreme heat to hair during the drying process helps to lock in your style, whether you're looking for a straight finish, waves or curls. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls.

Returned it after three days. Curls won’t stay unless tons of products used. For how much it costs, it shouldn’t be this hard to get curls to stay. Just use a regular curling iron.

Very Overrated

It is beautiful in person so sleek and looks very luxe. I have curly hair, 3A pattern hair, my hair is very healthy and so I didn’t want to use it on High. I used it on Medium the whole time and wasn’t able to achieve a blow out like I thought i would. My hair was very puffy I even tried it on high on one of my hair sections and I still could not achieve a nice blowout. Another thing that was happening was my hair was getting stuck in the round brush and it was pulling it out. I ended up returning it as purchasing the newer version of the Revlon one-step volumizer and it did the trick. I would say the Dyson is for hair that doesn’t really need to be blow dried so I can only recommend it to anyone with already straight hair.

For the best results with your hair type, we'd generally suggest using high heat and high airflow. We've also seen that other owners with similar hair types have enjoyed using the firm smoothing brush to get a smoother style by drying and styling simultaneously.
