If your hair is ear length, we would not recommend using it, as you may find some of the attachments difficult to use, or that your hair is not long enough for the barrels or brushes to grasp your hair for styling. I had heard and seen great reviews. I have above the shoulder, thin hair. It did not curl my hair at all. For $500 I expected beautiful curls without the damage of the heat. It did not work for my hair. I returned it. I am very disappointed with this product.

Great but depends on hair type

Posted .Hi Stephanie, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that in your use, you found the Dyson Airwrap to be difficult to use. The Airwrap does have a learning curve to it. For best results, start with freshly washed hair. All three brushes can be used on wet hair, but the barrels work best on damp hair. Use the Pre-styling dryer to dry hair to damp before styling with the barrels. When your hair is damp dry, it will look dry but feel cold to the touch. Not worth the money!

The curls didn’t set, the air wouldn’t allow the round brush to keep my hair in the bristles. Definitely not worth the price tag. I returned it.

I enjoyed the blow dryer portion but everything else was meh. I actually ended up returning it after a month and bought the The Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer instead which was better in my opinion and costed a lot less!!

Disappointed

I color my hair regularly and wanted to invest in a healthier way to style my hair. I heard great things about the Dyson air wrap and I was a little hesitant at first because of the price, but I thought in the long run it would be worth it. The first day I got it I tried it out and I was so disappointed. It barely straightened my hair and I still had a lot of frizz. I know it says it doesn’t use as high a heat as other products but it still got as hot as my other straightener. I returned it the very next day. My one step hair dryer from Revlon works so much better on my hair and for $50. I’m not saying it’s a bust, but maybe just not meant for coarse hair.
