Not worth the price

It is too expensive for all the issues it has. The first machine I got I had to return because a small section of the attachment connector lining melted, so the attachments fell off while using it. I am not sure how the melting happened since I never abused the machine. I asked for a replacement, and now the replacement has stopped working. At first, it was cutting off after a few seconds and flashing a white light. Now, it is flashing red and does not turn on. I am out of warranty, so I cannot get another replacement. I will take it to the service center to see if it can be fixed. I am so disappointed with all the issues I have had with the Airwrap. I have never had any issues with my other Dyson products.

It does not hold a curl longer then an hour. Everyone is like “you need to use Bobby pins,” but I’m sorry you should not need to Bobby pin your curls when using a $600 hair tool. My $20 curling iron does a better job and my curls last all day with no pinning or product. This is a huge waste of money.

Posted .Hello Lauren, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to learn that in your personal use, you have found that your curls drop while using the Dyson Airwrap multi-styler. The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. My revlon brush blow dryer does a better job than the Dyson. So bummed I really wanted to love it, but my hair was left bumpy when curling and blow drying. My curls also wouldn’t stay. Sad to say I had to return.
